I am also a participant in this course and I also liked it very much, the kind of balanced information which can be conveniently grasped, and the contents are so interesting that a person does not get bored, but rather every week I wait for Monday to attend the session.

I could not attend today's session, so I was waiting for the recording the whole day, I think this says a lot about how interesting the course is. I encourage everyone who wants to understand the Australian practices context to enrol into this course.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding the MAPPP course. It was truly a valuable opportunity to attend this program before beginning work in Australia. The course provided me with clear and comprehensive insights, from the basics to the finer details about how Australian private practices work.

As someone moving from another country, I understand that no matter how strong our clinical skills may be, adapting to a new work culture is essential. Often, learning this only after arrival can feel overwhelming. However, the structure and content of this course gave me a very clear idea in advance of what to expect, which I believe will make the transition much smoother.

I found the course to be a complete starter pack, covering practical aspects such as ways of working in Australian private practice, treatment planning, patient expectations, areas where I can further develop myself to excel, and how to build a caseload as a new physiotherapist in a new environment. During the course, I also appeared for a few interviews, and I noticed a significant difference. While discussing cases and treatment plans, I felt much more confident because this time I was framing my responses in line with Australian employers’ and patients’ expectations. As a result, the interviews went far more smoothly than before.

One of the most valuable aspects of the course was the way it was delivered. The information was very well-balanced, neither too little nor overwhelming in volume. Everything was explained with such clarity and relevance to our level of practice that it felt easier to grasp. Both of you brought in vast knowledge and expertise, yet taught in such an approachable, structured, and supportive way that nothing felt daunting. I truly admire the effort you put into tailoring the content for overseas physios, making sure it was practical, engaging, and confidence-building. Your mentorship style was not only highly professional but also very motivating, and it made the entire learning experience extremely enjoyable and enriching.

One of the best courses that i have done. The best part of the course is that it does not only focus on the clinical side of the things but also teaches you how to deal, treat and communicate with your patients as well. It was a great investment in my professional development and I have learnt a lot from the course.

I highly recommend it to my fellow Pakistani physios who are looking to work in Australia. If you need to find work and employers, upgrade yourselves and get in touch with James! Thank you for the knowledge and guidance James and Jeremy

Jimson James

Thank you for the MAPP course. It has provided me with valuable insights into physiotherapy private practice in Australia and clarified many of my doubts. I now feel much more confident in attending interviews and have a clearer understanding of what employers in Australia expect, as well as what patients generally seek from a physiotherapist.

I am happy to share my feedback and would highly recommend this course to international physiotherapists who aspire to practise in Australia.

I would like to sincerely thank both of you for the excellent MAPPP course. It was extremely helpful and provided valuable insights into patient treatment approaches.

That experience motivated me to further expand my knowledge, and choosing the MAPPP course turned out to be a very worthwhile decision.

Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, I was not always able to attend the live online sessions. However, I made sure to watch the recorded sessions offline, and I must say that the content was still very clear, engaging, and highly beneficial.

Your mentorship and the structured teaching throughout the course have given me valuable insights that will definitely help me in treating my patients more effectively. I truly appreciate the effort both of you have put into delivering this program.

Thank you again for your guidance and support. I would highly recommend this course to other clinicians as well.

If you’re internationally trained, interviewing for a role in an Australian private practice can feel like the biggest hurdle. In reality, that challenge lasts about an hour—successfully transitioning into private practice is the real test.

Successfully transitioning into an Australian private practice, however, can take months to truly master.

When I interview candidates, I consistently notice a difference between those who have completed this course and actively applied its principles in their daily practice, and those who haven’t.

The difference shows in their confidence, clinical reasoning, and understanding of how private practice operates in Australia.

What’s interesting is that many of the principles are universal. Even if you already own a practice in your home country, there’s a strong chance you could apply these ideas to make your business more efficient and profitable.

In my view, it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about succeeding in private practice.

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank both of you for all the support, encouragement, and guidance you have given me over the past few months. You both have been absolutely monumental in helping me through this journey.

I truly appreciate the effort you put into connecting me with prospective employers, sharing my references, taking calls on my behalf, and continuously encouraging me throughout the process.

I had the opportunity to attend several interviews and conversations with employers because of your support and belief in me. While some opportunities did not materialize, every interaction was a valuable learning experience and helped me move closer to the right fit.

I’m very happy to share that I have now found an employer, my visa has been granted, and I will soon be starting work in a community physiotherapy role in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne.

Honestly, none of this would have been possible without attending your course and learning so much about private practice, communication, and the profession as a whole. Beyond the knowledge itself, the confidence, mentorship, and genuine support both of you provided made a huge difference to me personally and professionally.

Thank you once again for believing in me and for all the time and effort you invested in helping me succeed. I’m incredibly grateful, and I hope to make the most of this opportunity moving forward.

Wishing you both continued success, and I hope our paths cross again soon.

As an overseas trained physiotherapist currently working at an outpatient physiotherapy clinic, attending the live sessions wasn’t always possible due to my clinical commitments. However the recordings were so well done that I genuinely never felt like I missed out. I made sure to watch every single one.

What I appreciate most was how practical and relevant the content was. It didn’t feel like just theory, it connected directly to what I was doing in the clinic and made me reflect on my practice in a meaningful way.

You both have a way of explaining things that feels approachable and real, which made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. I am feeling more confident and better prepared for the Australian private practice environment.

Thank you so much for putting together such a valuable course. I would absolutely recommend it to any overseas physiotherapist thinking about making the move to Australia.

I recently completed the Mastering Australian Private Practice (MAPPP) course, and it was an extremely valuable learning experience. The course gave me a strong understanding of the Australian private practice sector, including practical strategies for building, growing, and retaining a loyal client base. It also enhanced my approach to patient assessment and management through current evidence-based practice.

One of the highlights of the program was its focus on real-world scenarios encountered in private practice. The workshops were highly interactive, presenting practical challenges and solutions that can be applied immediately in clinical settings.

Having now completed the Mastering Australian Private Practice Physiotherapy (MAPPP) program, I wanted to personally thank you both and share what this experience has meant to me.

I have attended several professional courses throughout my career, but MAPPP stood out because it connected clinical knowledge with the realities of everyday private practice. Rather than simply providing information, the program encouraged me to reflect on how I assess, communicate, plan treatment, and build trust with my patients.

The sessions on the art and science of physiotherapy, structured treatment planning, pain education, and appropriate frequency of care were particularly thought-provoking. They helped me look beyond individual techniques and consider the complete patient journey—understanding what the patient needs, why a particular approach is appropriate, how it should be explained, and how progress should be reviewed.

The content relating to the Australian healthcare system, private practice expectations, interviews, and caseload development also gave me a much clearer understanding of what Australian employers and patients expect from a physiotherapist. As an overseas-trained clinician, I now feel better prepared to present my experience with confidence while remaining open, adaptable, and eager to continue learning.

What made the program especially engaging was your approachable and honest teaching style. Your openness in answering questions and discussing real clinical situations made MAPPP feel less like a conventional online course and more like genuine professional mentorship.

Thank you both for investing your time and experience in supporting internationally trained physiotherapists. MAPPP fills an important gap between professional registration and being genuinely prepared to succeed in Australian private practice. Please continue developing this valuable program and helping clinicians successfully transition into practice.

It has given me greater confidence as I prepare for my transition into Australian private practice and has also helped me identify areas where I can continue to develop and grow as a clinician.

Thank you again for the time, effort, and dedication you both put into the program. I truly appreciate the support you provide to overseas-trained physiotherapists like myself, and I am grateful for everything I have learned through MAPPP

Muqaddas Shafique

More importantly, the course helped me develop a deeper understanding of patient psychology and reinforced that excellent clinical practice is not only about evidence-based treatment but also about understanding each patient's preferences, values, and individual goals.

I truly believe that everything I have learned from this course will help me become a better physiotherapist. Learning from experienced clinicians like both of you has inspired me to continually improve myself and provide the best possible care for my patients.

Since implementing many of the principles from the course, I have noticed a positive difference in my practice. My patient engagement has improved, I have received more positive online reviews, and I can see that patients are responding well to the changes I have made.

Thank you once again for your dedication, passion, and willingness to share your knowledge. I genuinely appreciate everything I have learned from you both, and I look forward to continuing to put these lessons into practice throughout my career.
